Speaker 1:

It's just a statue down to you, jim Morgan, coming to you from the lovely city of Atlanta, georgia, and we have our free agency shows. we have annual free agency show. I'm calling it annual free agency show. This might be the first year we've ever done it, but I guess we'll start it. Yeah, awesome, our annual NBA free agency show here on just a statue. Thank you for listening, wherever you may be. And you know, eugene, the biggest dominoes that fell right. So we're waiting on some of the big dominoes of fall with the Kyrie Urban. Kyrie Urban goes back to the Mavs. That was a three year deal, yep, and he went back to them for. and what was that? Was that three years? 130, 120?

Speaker 2:

I think it was three years of one Roughly 27. Roughly 40-ish a year, right 40-ish a year.

Speaker 1:

James Harden still without a chair man Musical chairs. James Harden opted in, but that opt in comes with the expectation that he will be trained in, So he's going to be another team. Was that three teams in three years?

Speaker 2:

Yep.

Speaker 1:

That should be very interesting. Van Fleet getting paid Getting paid 130. I think it was what a four year 130?.

Speaker 2:

Zero year one Yep.

Speaker 1:

And the four year for Draymond as well. Four year 100. I feel like that's only worth $100 million to the Warriors in my opinion. But Draymond doesn't show up on the stat sheet. He's got a very and he can occupy a you don't know has them tight role for Warriors once he gets into the later years of that contract. So the guy you just want in a room. So I could see that, i could see that And you know. Another thing too if I'm just going to talk about the Draymond Green situation for a second is when you look at the amount of money a Draymond Green, a Clay and a Steph might want and you look about the amount of money you may spend to try to keep you keep these guys around, and let's just say you spend three or four, let's just say about three billion, because they'll say you have a couple of $200 million contract. I think Steph's got $200 million contract. Let's say you gave Clay a couple of 150 million. I'm just throwing out random numbers here to kind of make a point.

Speaker 1:

Let's say you give Clay $300 million, you give Steph about $500 million. You're already at 800. And let's say you give Draymond a billion or $200 million himself Okay, a couple of hundred million contract. So let's say you got a billion dollars just tied up in these three players throughout the years that you've given these guys. Okay, yeah, if you tell an owner before any of this happens, hey, you got to give these three guys a billion dollars. However, you're going to have what does it have? Four or five championships.

Speaker 2:

Four NBA championships.

Speaker 1:

You're going to have four chips. Do you know how many owners would exchange a billion dollars for four championships? I venture to say every single one of them, every single one of them all 30, would exchange that amount of money. Matter of fact, let's double it. Forget all those numbers that you gave me, let's go $2 billion. Yeah, $2 billion. You know, any owners who spent that much money and got nothing for the money they spent Got absolutely zero for that, you know. Look at it. Let's just go here in Atlanta. Atlanta is in the luxury tax. We don't have new championships, no luxury tax here in it. We're out of luxury tax. Collins.

Speaker 2:

We got rid of Johns for now. We're out of the luxury tax for a moment.

Speaker 1:

Look at what they got for that Right. What do we get for going into a luxury tax? A play in game? I think that's what we discussed here last episode. That's what our luxury tax.

Speaker 1:

So there's a lot of owners that are in that luxury tax. They're getting nothing, getting zero for that. There's a lot of owners who played billions throughout the year and gotten zero for their not even making a playoffs. So is there a number that's too high for the Warriors in these three? I don't think it is, because even at some point, if you're looking and saying, well, we're only paying them for what we've done. Well, look what they've done. Right, they got four championships.

Speaker 2:

Four championships.

Speaker 1:

You know what I mean. So the Dreymon okay, whatever they pay, whatever they play, play, play whatever. You know what I mean At this particular point in the game and they're still staying competitive. It's not like they're just paying these guys, and these guys aren't being competitive at all. They're just playing championship just last year, right. So it's not like you're just throwing money away. You know what I mean.

Speaker 1:

I, those, those kind of signings don't really um, you know, you know, you know, you know, mean a ton to me, only because of the intangibles that come with that. It's not looking at Drake Mon and saying, looking at the stats and saying that those stats equate to a $100 million player. But he's had way more than $100 million influence on that team, like it's been massive. So I get why they signed him there. Now somebody's other signings I don't know. One of the biggest I don't know signings is the $80 million given to Dylan Brooks. I don't know that Dylan Brooks is an $20 million a year player. Let me go ahead and look up his stats. Make sure I'm just not talking out of my behind here, but just out of memory. I don't think like man, dylan Brooks, we really got to get him on the team here.

Speaker 1:

So 14 points, 14 and a half career average for Dylan Brooks. Yeah, last year 14 points. He has had better years, but last year wasn't one of them, and the highest year he only played 32 games. So that may maybe would have came out in a wash if he had actually played the entire season. He averaged 18-4 last year. So 14 points, three rebounds. I'm going to round up for him for his sake. Three assist. Okay, all right, i don't. I mean, i don't know, eugene, that's not screaming $80 million to me, it's just not. I think that at least you could have, because you look at a contract that Austin Reeves just signed. Austin Reeves signed what a three, four year 52, somewhere around there. I felt like he's got shortchanged a bit. I feel like he could have got 60. He could have got $15 million a year.

Speaker 2:

I'm surprised there wasn't a team out there And I think I was texting you about even the dream on one. I'm surprised there wasn't a team just out there overbidding, like, why did nobody go out there and try to overbid for Austin Reeves, just to, just to try to put the Lakers, put more pressure on Lakers? Like, go out, offer them, offer them the same Dylan Brooks contract, you know, and I thought he could have got that.

Speaker 1:

I think he could have got that Dylan Brooks contract also. Yeah.

Speaker 2:

Well, the what the the Houston back to the Dylan Brooks, it's, you know it's, unfortunately there's not. like you said, we, before we jump in the show, not a lot of free, not a huge creation class, and so, and well, and Houston, had they were been under the cap for so long they have. So you have to spend the money somewhere.

Speaker 1:

You have to spend the money. Yeah, that's another thing too.

Speaker 2:

Right, and they did bring some other good pieces in there.

Speaker 1:

You know Van Fleet 130. Yeah, Van Fleet you spending a little bit with him, You got $200 million over $200 million tied up in Fred Van Fleet and Dylan Brooks.

Speaker 2:

Right, and they brought Jeff Green in there too, so they've got a veteran presence, they got a, and Dylan Brooks was defense Van Bleet is?

Speaker 1:

Is that scream winning team to you? Like, where, where, where? I think it's a playoff team. What kind of vibes.

Speaker 2:

I think it gets them playoff team Then, because they got, now they got some.

Speaker 1:

In the.

Speaker 2:

West? I think so. Yeah, i mean maybe a play in game. Maybe, let's, let's not get, let me be playing, let's give them at least a play, okay.

Speaker 1:

I think very, i'm back, i'm back on the bus. I was. I called for my stop when you said playoff team.

Speaker 2:

I always, i always got to make sure I always forget to clarify play in versus playoff. But a play in team, yes, i think they could cause. They got a good young, a good young core.

Speaker 1:

I like a little young core, for sure. Good coach now Bar Smith's going to do. I like Jalen Green, though.

Speaker 2:

Right, Jalen Green's got that veteran presence on on the floor. You got Dill. I mean, i know I'm sorry Yeah.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, jeff Green.

Speaker 2:

And then you got, like I said Brooks, yes, everyone's going to look at the whole LeBron thing last year, but he does play good defense. He is a good defensive presence there. So they're going to be they're going to be a solid team. They should be kind of in that, like that nine to 10 range, you know, be be competing for that play in game next year.

Speaker 1:

Okay. Well, let's go down. Let's do like a rapid because I have my beach report has got a great NBA track for anybody wants to jump on and check out all The signings is a lot of signings. It won't be to go to the world.

Speaker 2:

It was.

Speaker 1:

I kind of like a rapid Fire here. Eric Gordon signing with the Suns Yeah or nay.

Speaker 2:

Good, that's what he like, what we said They needed a. They need to point out, i need depth.

Speaker 1:

They need that They need to build that thing out, man. Yes, you need to build that thing out Miles bridges, re-signing with the Hornets.

Speaker 2:

Well, yeah, yeah, nay or meh. Well, he wasn't not. I mean, i was really gonna. I don't think many teams were gonna touch that after the whole. You know, domestic wasn't a domestic abuse.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, yeah, he had some issues there. Yeah, so I'm a point nine qualifying offer is not exactly setting the world on fire, No there.

Speaker 2:

So so he needs a. He had to take that and you kind of reestablish himself.

Speaker 1:

All right, jordan Clarkson's three year, 55 Re-signing with the jazz. I think he got two extra years on this. I think he had a year. I think you got two extra years. Yeah, pretty good for the jazz. I don't mind this, no good pretty good for them good either.

Speaker 2:

A good guy could start for you also. Good guy at the bench That's a Stricky shooter. That's wrong with that.

Speaker 1:

So bonus Kings extension five year 217 with the Kings. I I think you're kind of forced to do this to a certain degree, mm-hmm, if you're an ascending teams Kings team, like you are, so bonuses a part of that you're. Your untouchables to me Are Fox and so bonus there and they got the kid Murray that they drafted fit in pretty well with them. I feel like you kind of forced to make moves like this because if you're not gonna go until blow it up move and to start training Off all your assets, right, you got to keep your assets right. There's only two things you can do you get to trade them or keep them.

Speaker 2:

Right. Oh yeah, keep the core together, man. They for third of the West last year. I mean they should be right. It should be in kind of in that top six conversation this year.

Speaker 1:

Dante X on with the Mavericks is a man to me. I don't know what that is. Alex Lynn kind of a man I mean, 3.2 resigning with the Kings. He's trying to keep that thing together up there, Yeah.

Speaker 2:

Alex Lynn. Good, good bench guy He was. I think he played with the Hawks for a little bit too, i'm not mistaken. Yeah, he was a good bench guy with us too. So, yeah, i like him too.

Speaker 1:

I already know about this one. You like the Jeff Green. One year six million. Oh, i love Jeff green, i'm like that.

Speaker 2:

I'm glad he got a championship. He's got off that that I don't have a championship ring bus. We need to get Chris Paul the only championship bus. But yes, i'd like the Jeff Green one.

Speaker 1:

And this was a little bit interesting to me. Do you mention so, four year, 50 million?

Speaker 2:

The next, ah, ah he looked really good playoffs. That's he. You know what he got a man It's the Jalen Brunson man. He had a good. I don't think that you.

Speaker 1:

Does it move the meter in New York like is New York celebrating this? is New York running out and somebody buying season tickets because of a Signing like this?

Speaker 2:

I think, well, they got another shooter. You could definitely see that's what they were lacking when they were in In the playoffs last year. They were I mean, they were given Brunson was just I mean you kid, he was kill himself out there. You know so, and you don't know how long Randall's gonna be out. I don't feel. I don't know what the timetable is for him to be back in there, so it's just another maybe New York sees a.

Speaker 1:

Blow that thing out. Man, i really let it'll be top and go, and I'm not sure why. Um, it's, i don't. I mean, new York is a very mad team to me. They're like a decent mad team, like they're not Doing anything that sets the world on fire to me, but they are existing. They did make the playoffs, um, but there's no Body on that team. As much as I like Jaylen Brunson for that team, mm-hmm, there's just no Body on New York. I don't know what their identity is. I was on another show when we talked about Chicago and their lack of identity And I feel the same kind of like by about new york here Um.

Speaker 2:

I don't really know what you're going to play off at least. Yeah, well they're. New York is the. We're waiting for the next star to have many years. I get it Every yep, yep. It's kind of like Collins, you think the John.

Speaker 1:

Collins uh, he wants Harden or Lillard. You know me, i'm in my New York He's for for people who, like the Dicks man, hope springs eternal out there, man, like you know, every time a free agent comes up, yep, could be New York, it could be, could tell you we said this before like watch out for um In bead.

Speaker 2:

Let's see what happens in that whole situation.

Speaker 1:

That's interesting. Uh, jaylin McDaniels, toronto Raptors agreed to two year 9.3. Yeah, okay, i don't know if that really moves the meter A ton there for me, russell, he has a brother Jayden. I always get them confused. I had one of these guys on my uh fantasy team last year. Uh, russell Westbrook resounds with the Clippers. Two year 7.8 player options. That means basically a one year, right. Yeah, um, all right, i mean I think he did okay. I think he did enough to earn that, in my opinion, for them last year.

Speaker 2:

No one else. I don't think anyone else is gonna sign them.

Speaker 1:

I mean, not a huge market. is what you do, yeah?

Speaker 2:

He was either this or overseas. I'm pretty sure.

Speaker 1:

Wow Jockland L and the Houston Rockets to on a four year 32 million. Uh, he was, that's some depth gone from phoenix there. He gave Phoenix some decent minutes Last year that now he's gonna give to the Rockets. Um Dylan Brooks, you know how I feel about this, the four year 80. I don't know, i don't know. Um, i feel like Possibly could have got a player better player for close to a hundred million dollars than a um 14 point per game guy. But Maybe they see something in him that I don't. And defense will be will be um Key there I guess for him Maybe like that. That, uh, better than I do, but I'm not really a huge fan.

Speaker 2:

Not a huge fan But like I see that I understand the signing, you know, and he's not coming in there to be like their third or fourth, or bet that you know the fourth best person you know, maybe the third, you know, they got such a young, a young core. They just need some, just need some adults in the room. I think that's indeed some defensive presence And I think that's what they address.

Speaker 1:

Now tide Jerome. I don't even know that is signs. Uh, with the calves, two year, five million. Okay, um, let's go through here. J crowd are re-signing with the bucks up on a one year. Did he play last year?

Speaker 2:

Yeah, barely very sparingly right, yeah, because it took forever and for him to get traded. And then when he's on the team, you know it's just, it's fine. And j j collar is It's, it's, it's okay. You know, it's what, it's a whatever deal. There's a big deal I think was signing, re-signing for club has. I think that's better. I mean, they make sure they got him back.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, I think they gave him what? a two year 50 ish or something like that. Somewhere in that range I can get that deal, but it's that wasn't important to them and they kept their core because they gave chris middleton, uh, three year hundred. I want to say um, in that range, so keeping that core together. Uh, mo vagner, i agree to terms with it. Two year 16 mil for the magic, okay. Uh, lamello signed that hornet's extension would work up to 260 him. And uh, your boy, hella burden Where we like hella burden man.

Speaker 2:

I love an indiana So it's, it's, that's.

Speaker 1:

I get that. The lamello scares me, you know how I feel about this.

Speaker 2:

Eugene.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, you know how I feel about max injury guys. You know I feel about guys signing that max with a cast on or, or, or, limping around signing that max deal. Never like it, ever like it. Yeah, you know, but what are you gonna do? Can't let him walk So no what are you gonna do with that?

Speaker 1:

Austin Reeves 260 up to 260 on that lamello death. I said that him and um Halliburton, i think, have the same similar deals five years up to 260s. Uh, austin Reeves and Los Angeles Lakers four years, 56. I feel like he could have got a little more. I think it's about 14 mil per year. I think he could have got a little more. Yeah, because I mean it's unrestricted like why?

Speaker 2:

I mean, only thing I could think of is like is like when we're like, we're talking about the whole thing with uh Lamar, they were someone who just it doesn't matter that they're gonna match it, but it's like yeah god, I just just kind of the Lakers could only match it.

Speaker 2:

So much You know what I mean They could I don't know if they could have matched 20, you know exactly. Why not give them four for four, for eight years? You know five or a hundred, whatever the number was. You know it's like I, if I'm like I said, if I'm in the west and I'm competing against the Lakers By the way, lakers did a great job of it for age. See that they're absolutely, But again. I wouldn't. I want to just make it painful for him.

Speaker 1:

I want to make you Little painful, sweat a little bit.

Speaker 2:

Make you sweat a little bit, especially if, like, if I'm houston, why not? if I'm just throw the money out there, see what happens.

Speaker 1:

Patrick Beverly resigning with 76ers or signing with the 76ers, i should say, man, talk about a journey man. You know man, a lot of, a lot of different teams. He's a one-year contract for him, so who knows if he stays there after that? Uh, it was a two year. 48 for book Lopez, 24 per Um. This might be surprising to a lot of people, but not all the way surprising to me. The angelo russell resigning with the Lakers is not all the way surprising to me. Um, two year 37 is not crazy for what he provides. That's not a crazy contract. That's what 18-5. That's not a crazy contract for what he gives you and some stability at the position the guy who's been there last year, some stability. This has been a situation where I wouldn't have been surprised either way. So if they had traded them or if they decided not to sign them, i should say, okay, i get it, but signing them at this number especially, i don't think it's crazy.

Speaker 2:

Right and they have such a good bench. It's not like you're if he has a bad game or he's starting off bad, you're not stuck with keeping him in there. You know, like it kind of was with Phoenix. It's like, hey, cp3 doesn't have it tonight. Well, we're kind of stuck with him. We don't really have a backup for him.

Speaker 1:

You know Right.

Speaker 2:

At least with DeRussell it was like you've got some options on that bench to go. Okay, he's not having it tonight. We can kind of move him in the rotation now or out of rotation.

Speaker 1:

He's got a player option. Him and Reeves both have player options, by the way, so player options for both of those players for the second year and for the fourth year, for Reeves and for the second year. Okay, let's look at somebody's other guys, see if there's any guys. Dennis Smith Jr he's a good fantasy player for me. Last year One year contract with the Nets. He came from Charlotte. Jackson Hayes signing with the Lakers. That's decent Again the Lakers.

Speaker 2:

I was just so impressed Because I mean they put that course together so late, made the playoff push. They're going to be a fun team to watch next year when they have that core to get with each other. You know the whole year. So and there you go, And you've got some insurance for when you know for Anthony Davis.

Speaker 1:

Three team trade here for Max Druse to sign and trade Now. this is interesting to me. Is Max Druse four years, 63? Is he?

Speaker 2:

I don't know. That's a playoff number.

Speaker 1:

These guys making money. I've told you the deal The Deladovas of the world. I love to call these guys. These are all the Deladovas of the world. Jj Barreas of the world, guys, guys, come on during the playoffs, get paid And maybe you hear from them again.

Speaker 1:

Maybe you don't, i don't know They ended up with a CD Osmond who I thought was okay. Cd Osmond got traded to San Antonio Spurs in this deal. I don't know that he is way better than CD Osmond. Four years, 63. I'm pretty sure Osmond wasn't costing you 63 over four years. So this is interesting for the Cavs, who I kind of liked with the moves they've made. Now this is also interesting. Desmond Bain and this is what I didn't know until just now. Desmond Bain and Memphis Grizzlies agreed to terms on a five year 207 max contract extension.

Speaker 2:

There you go. You gotta keep your core together, man.

Speaker 1:

Man, do I wanna pay Desmond Bain 40 a year? Let's go to the stats guys. No, i gotta pull them up, cause some of these guys I gotta think about bro, and if I have to think about you usually it's not great Like if I have to think like, oh well, well, maybe Okay, so here we go.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, he stepped it a lot for us.

Speaker 1:

Here's why I do not like it. Here's why I'm not gonna like this still, which I knew I wasn't gonna like it, but here's why I don't like it For one. Well, here's the good thing. The good thing is he's young. Yeah, kids, only 24. He's young. The bad news is he averaged. His career average is 16 points a game. He averaged 21 and a half last year. Yep, he also played his fewest games. He had well a game started. Second few is because his first year is 68 games started, 17, or his first year. Second year 76 games, 76 games started. That's just being able to be out.

Speaker 2:

There is a skill a lot of people right the team to carry the team a lot when, when, when Jaws not there, when Jaws out, because that's why you know he's gonna be out, You're gonna be out, so he's gonna be your go-to guy.

Speaker 1:

What you prove he can be. He can, i guess he can, but it, you know, what's crazy to me is I'm not a fan and he is kind of a senior. Let me let me They put this this way, because I am not a huge fan of paying you off the best year you've ever had. I feel like at some point people regressed to the mean of what they've always been Right. So when a guy's got one year and that year is the greatest year He's ever had and it also happens to be coupled with the fewest games that you've ever played, you know what I mean? Um, i Just don't know.

Speaker 1:

60 is if I'm gonna pay a guy 40 million a year, you better average more than 16 five. You better, you better average more than 16 five. I can't, i cannot give 16 five, 40 million dollars a year. You do. Maybe this is one of those kind of things where it's like You have the Grizzlies That want to keep their guy, kind of the same way that the Warriors want to keep Jermaine, so you get a little extra added on top of that. But I Don't know if you went into this year thinking that Desmond Bain was a max player, like I don't know in what seat, i don't know what Universe. Desmond Bain is a max basketball player because let's think about max player. Right, you're my max player. You think about your Steph Curry's in the world. You guys have a max players name is John Moran. That's a max player. Now, i know the numbers aren't the same as far as contractually, but when I hear the name max, when I say max player, Mm-hmm.

Speaker 1:

I'm thinking of the John Moran's, steph Curry's, dame Lily, you see what I'm saying. You see what I'm putting down here when I'm thinking of a max player. How can these guys be the same thing? How can Desmond Bain be a John Moran? How can Desmond Bain be a Steph Curry? How can he be a Dame Lillard? How can he be? Well, you like to be next to his name, the same way it is next to these other guys name.

Speaker 2:

Well, because it means you use your number two. So you don't want like just number two. Walk out the door, right. Get it So so and they've been made. It's gonna take him to get to those points.

Speaker 1:

I mean he's 2007 though They couldn't give the guy 150, 207, 207. I don't see what's wrong with that. Ben Fleet contract. Ben Fleet to 4 130. That's not horrible, it's not poor, you know what I mean. That's not that's not a. This is not a poor. I mean, I feel like. I Feel like 35 a year is not crazy for a guy who average 16, 5.

Speaker 2:

I don't think it is man.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, but whatever guys been the money somewhere. Halliburton 260, you know I like it, love that. Not gonna spend any time there. This is interesting. Derek Rose in the Grizzlies Terms on a two-year 6.5 seem to be really good. Pairing with the addition of him is smart for those more okay, i like that, you know, i mean. Seth Curry man. Another journeyman, seth Curry's, with the Mavericks now.

Speaker 2:

Oh, there you go. I didn't, i didn't know that one. That's a good, that's a good spot.

Speaker 1:

I haven't had a bad. The maps have not had a bad offseason.

Speaker 1:

I feel like the Kyrie situation had to happen because, of what you gave up to give them And you let, in 27 points per game walk out of there. Absolutely not. You're not letting 27 walk out of there. And guess who's making more than him? Desmond Bain. Desmond Bain, at 16 5, is making more than Kyrie. Then let's just use your last name, yours numbers 21 For Desmond Bain, which is pretty good, and I'm gonna. 22 on a roundup, yep, but 27 and Kyrie would get 28 on the roundup, yeah if he plays worth way more if he played, that's true, and I got like a Kyrie's game 70 play.

Speaker 1:

I feel like he did pretty decent last year. Schroters shooter, i should say signing with the Raptors to your 26. Okay, all right, i don't think that moves a meter one way or other, but whatever three years one third, at my bad, my bad Van Fleet. I gave Van Fleet four years 130.

Speaker 2:

I'll be here to tell to him completely insulted him there.

Speaker 1:

Van Fleet undrafted player Biggest contracts in history for uncharactered player. I think he has two of those Good for. Fred Van Fleet for our another over that would be a folks out there.

Speaker 1:

You know what I mean, and I I mean with the Rockets. Okay, we'll see. We'll see camera radish with the Lakers been somewhat of a journeyman man. I don't like that pick for us man. I don't like that pick for us. We picked him, i think, in a lottery. I think he was a lottery pick for us here in Atlanta and He's been on two teams. Wait, this is his 13, 13. I Think you finally have used.

Speaker 2:

He'll finally get used somewhere. You, because we weren't gonna use them. We didn't have, we already had. We it's like we had decided which we you know sitting on him or Hunter, and so he spent the money on Hunter and you know, and freight and traded them to the next right next, didn't use him. So I think no, i think it's a good spot for him to be in and you know He actually have a chance to be on the rotation when she had no chance to be in rotation with the Knicks. So I think it'll be good. I think it'd be good for him.

Speaker 1:

I See how tomorrow we signed with the Lakers three year 51. I thought that kind of had to happen.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, thank how she played great in the playoffs. You know he had some great games against the the Warriors Get game against the the Nuggets. So yeah, like I said, that, like your team, is gonna be really fun this year.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, i like what they've done. Kevin, love me. Signs with the heat to your contract player option for a second year.

Speaker 2:

We'll get free. Hey, it's good.

Speaker 1:

Still getting signed. I hear her Look at her Jones out here in the new pellet her Jones.

Speaker 1:

Year 54 for her good old herb before man. Okay, all right, all right. Uh, shake Milton with the wolves. two years, 10, watch a no, be like a watch. nobody out here again with the Suns. Okay, filling that out, you know, watch no big, give you some. um, it's a one year deal. I think he came from the nets. Uh, he can give you that. the perimeter shot. man, he made that perimeter shot. Yep, uh, gabe Vincent, los Angeles Lakers, three years, 33. Yeah, okay, that's not setting the world on fire to me. I'm not setting the world.

Speaker 2:

But again, they're just, they're just adding, they're doing the opposite of what the Phoenix should be doing. You know, like the Lakers went out there and said, okay, how can we fill out our rotation? Let's do it this way. Do do boom, boom, boom.

Speaker 2:

And it's going to go like cause, again the way they were playing the playoffs like he, like they could just run out different rotations on you. Okay, if this was, like you said, can't rash, it's like a myth trait. But again, you're not. You don't have to rely on him every game. Like, if he has a good game, that a great. And that seemed like what the coach had a good good gauge on. If a guy was doing really well and he was kind of losing that momentum, boom, he took them out. So they just have so many. Just their bench is going to be. It's so awesome. They've got such an awesome bench.

Speaker 1:

Uh, Joe Ingalls, Orlando magic two years 22. Okay, It came. Johnson. Re-signing is interesting That four years 108. I thought they're just giving a hundred million dollar contracts to anybody out here now And I love cam Johnson, I love cam Johnson, I love cam Johnson. Could that have been a four year 80? I think it could have been. I don't think that it would have been a problem for a four year 80, but I mean, you got to spend the money somewhere, Yeah.

Speaker 2:

He's really unrestricted for agent too. So it's like, yeah, give him a little extra.

Speaker 1:

Let's see Chris Middleton re-signing three year one or two. three year one, 26 for Kyrie That's about where it should be. Um, let's look here, look at this and see if there's anybody else. That just jumps out to me I didn't ever need this. Is Reggie Jackson re-signing with the Nuggets. I never knew he was playing with the Nuggets. I mean, he got a championship with them last year. He did, he was trained to do it. I like Reggie Jackson, by the way. Yeah, I've liked him throughout the years Um 10, 10 million.

Speaker 2:

So that's a team that Phoenix Phoenix should have been trying to trade, trade or trying to sign him. That would be a good, either a good backup or a starting point for them.

Speaker 1:

We got a Chris Stop Korea agreeing to a two year 60 million dollar extension Interesting. It'll be interesting to see how that, how that works out. Now Troy Brown signing with the Timberwolves I don't have the financials here, but that's interesting. And uh, so Jeremy Grant. Now this is funny. So the Jeremy Grant situation was a five year 160. Mm, hmm, um, which is interesting, because if Lillard had just told him slightly earlier I'm not coming back guys, i don't know that they make this five year 160 deal for Jeremy Grant, because I think at that point it's not that Democrats not a good player, right, but I feel like when you're assigning players to deals like this, you think you're in contention, like you think that you have a shot, like if your team is embracing rebuild land. It doesn't usually go with a five year 160, like those two things don't usually go together.

Speaker 2:

You know what I mean, right This a five year.

Speaker 1:

160 means we feel like we can get got a shot at this thing. You know what I mean And we can. We're going to build around Dame.

Speaker 2:

We got the kid Yeah, it's out here.

Speaker 1:

you know what I mean And what they. this would have been a pretty decent team, but we all know how that's happening now. Things not going to be. no blazers uniform Uh, bruce Brown, two year 45. Okay, pacers, i mean with the Pacers signing um uh Halliburton and having a kid, matthew, in there.

Speaker 2:

I mean they're some nice running young thing there. He's cashing in on his, on his championship. Man, you gotta give a Kim, that's like, that's what you do. Get, get, get some money. You got your championship. Right now, get out, get all the money You can at this point.

Speaker 1:

True. And then we have Deandre Jordan resigning with the nuggets. Okay, i mean, i don't know if that he ever came off the bench, but, um, take them Then. The Torian Prince signing is one that a lot of people like. Like that one. A lot of people like that Torian Prince signing man, one year, four, five. It's the most love I've seen for a one year 4.5 guy. Um, a lot of people like it, though I don't really know myself, but a lot of people like it. So I'm just no, no, what was?

Speaker 2:

check it I see like that's right, that's a Lakers, one, right, another one, yeah, that's again shout out to Rob Polinka man, My team.

Speaker 1:

Rob Polinka since, uh, that trade deadline man Since the trade deadline Pretty damn good. And pretty good And people were crapping on them.

Speaker 2:

But now It was funny because the players he got back for Westbrook weren't like the best, like he didn't get a lot back for him, but it just it got rid of Westbrook And I think that was the whole, and then this that just changed the whole dynamic of the team.

Speaker 1:

Okay, kyle Kuzma getting paid for your one or two. Okay, kara Silver, who I really kind of like there. I like Kara Silver. Um two year 32. For Keras the ver, it's not bad number for him, my opinion. Uh. Trey Liles resigning with Sacramento Kings Okay, yeah. Um, harrison Barnes got a three year 54 contract extension with the Kings. I don't really know what to make of that. One way or the other, one way or the other. Um butchovich, three year 60 extension. Chicago Bulls I mean, of course, what else are you going to do?

Speaker 1:

Uh blow it up, man, you know what's crazy is. I mean, that's what it why you will know if Zach Levine goes like as long as Zach Levine and the Rosener there, like we kind of got to pay guys right, like as soon as you see those two guys go yeah one way ticket to rebuild land.

Speaker 1:

Yeah Well, maybe there's a, maybe it's a, maybe they come back, but soon as they go, then you're really going to know what's popping with that. Um, and I think that's it. There's a lot of options that have been exercised and I'll let you guys kind of go through those, because a ton of options, This show will be hours long. We kind of go into all of them, but I do like um, entertaining season so far. Uh, we still got two big chips to fall and that's a Lillard and Harden, in that order in my opinion, to see where, where those guys go. Um, this is just a stats. Check us out. Stay dry, ready to go?
